Well made, all metal, except for the two plastic knobs. It all comes apart, easily, just watch you don't loosen the flash seat and pop out the two springs.The middle up and down adjustment is very good and strong, as it has teeth, that keep it in place as you move the flash head to the angle you need. The bottom seat has an extra silver adapter for a 1/4 inch screw, so you can attach this to any magic arm, mini or regular tripod with a matching screw. Or you can take it out and attach this unit directly to a light stand.Happy with the price and this purchase, and would shop here again. Fully recommend, this store, and a good sociable and conscientious seller, who responds to messages.
