    Common problems of IR filters

    Hotspots
Hotspots are a relatively common problem with infrared. It is due to internal reflection of light inside a lens. Normal lenses have coated barrels to absorb light, but these coatings don\'t always work in infrared, causing these problems.

    Solution:
1.Hotspots can often be eliminated by changing the aperture.
2.Hotspots occur most often in the same type of shooting angles that cause lens flare. In this case, hotspots can usually be avoided by shooting away from bright sources of light.

    Exposure:
On converted cameras, the exposure meters still work based on visible light. This can occasionally cause some under or over exposure because the visible and infrared light of a scene may not be the same.

Thank you very much everything perfect

Until i realized how to process, so that the color was this, and the cb is not bad.

Fast in mail. Well packed. As described. Looks good. Good finish.

Good quality product, securely packaged and within regular shipping time. i have barely tested it but it works properly. got the 680nm 49mm, and will probably get the 720nm soon. Recommended

I bought the 67mm of 850nm. The item arrived fast and in good shape. The filter itself has an inferior quality compared to Hoya, but its price is also inferior. It is better than other cheaper filters, does not have mayor fault spots and it does seem to block the intended spectrum of light. I experience serious focus shift with it, as wells as flares but it may be due to the lens.I recommend it as an acceptable starter into IR photography, and would again these filters and from the same seller.
