as everyone else said, the lens are too powerful so need to bring obects too close to the lens to be useful for stereo optic viewing. as a single eye loupe it okay (but so close the leds don't illuminate the object). i find its more useful without the lens since the leds are really bright and get stereo optic view of whats in front. maybe i'll try finding low power lens to stick in front (the headmount visor lens i have are max 4x).
