Received the goods whole. I could not check the battery then no.

Very good caliper and accurate. Prefer fiber over metal because of less weight. Light weight allows to easily attach to wall using Velcro. Uses LR44 1.5v battery which is not included.

The whole came!!

I suggest getting a cheap non digital metal one. This one feels very flimsy and cheaply put together.
